The Brown City High School volleyball team has advanced to the semi-finals of the Class C State Tournament, after rallying on Tuesday night to beat Shelby in the quarter final. Down two sets to none, the Green Devils roared back for three straight wins to take the match 3-2, by scores of 22-25, 20-25, 25-16, 25-12, and 15-8. Becki Krause had 27 kills and Alexia Mason 43 assists for Brown City. The Green Devils face Adrian Madison at 2 PM on Thursday in Battle Creek for a spot in the finals.
