
The Detroit Red Wings let the lead slip away late in the third period, and lost 4-3 in overtime to the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday night. Detroit has gone three games without a win. Dylan Larkin and Andreas Athanasiou scored 16 second apart in the first period to put the Wings up 2-0 early. Henrik Zetterberg scored midway through the third to break a 2-2 tie and put the Wings back into the lead. However, Martin Streit tied the game with 1:02 left in the third, and Jacob Voracek netted the game winner in OT for the Flyers. The Wings host Winnipeg on Friday night at Joe Louis Arena.
