
The Detroit Tigers bats came to live just in time on Wednesday night, in a 9-6 win over the Minnesota Twins. The Twins scored five times in the fourth inning to storm in front 5-2, but Detroit answered back with four runs in the bottom of the inning to retake the lead. Ian Kinsler had four hits and two RBI, while finishing a home run shy of the cycle. Miguel Cabrera had a home run and knocked in two runs, and Cameron Maybin added a double and a triple to drive in two runs for the Tigers. The final game of the series is set for Thursday afternoon at Comerica Park. Detroit is one game out of a playoff spot with 17 games to play in the season.
