
The Detroit Tigers lost a marathon 15 inning game in Seattle on Tuesday night, 6-5 to the Mariners. Detroit blew a 4-1 lead in the eighth inning, when Kyle Seager belted a two out three run home run. The Tigers retook the lead when Victor Martinez led off the top of the 15th with a solo home run, but Seattle scored two in the bottom of the inning off Francisco Rodriguez to steal the win. Detroit has lost three in a row and faces the Mariners again on Wednesday night, in the final game of a three game series.
