Victor Martinez hit three of the Tigers six home runs on Thursday night, as Detroit beat Kansas City 10-4, in the first game of a four game series. Miguel Cabrera, Nick Castellanos, and James McCann also went deep for the Tigers. Outfield JD Martinez injured his elbow and is expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks, after crashing into the wall trying to run down a fly ball. The two teams will play again on Friday in KC.
