A win would have moved Detroit back into a playoff spot with five games to go in the regular season, but Montreal scored twice in the third to come from behind and beat the Red Wings 4-3 on Tuesday night. Gus Nyquist, Anthony Mantha, and Mike Green scored for Detroit. The Wings host Minnesota on Friday.
