Brad Richard scored with one minute to play to break a 3-3 tie and lift the Detroit Red Wings to a 5-3 win over the Colorado Avalanche in Denver on Saturday. Tomas Tatar, Gus Nyquist, Justin Abdelkader, and Darren Helm also scored for the Wings. Detroit plays in Dallas on Monday.
