The Detroit Pistons had to hold off a late charge from the New York Knicks on Thursday night at the Palace. Detroit, which led by as many as 27 points in the game, took a 111-105 victory. Reggie Jackson and Stanley Johnson both scored over 20 points for the Pistons, who play in Indiana on Saturday.
