Huskies Win Manz Tournament

For the seventh year in a row the Port Huron Northern hockey team has won the Larry Manz tournament, topping Marysville 3-1 in the final on Saturday at McMorran Arena.  Brendan Dickinson, Cameron Barlass, and Nick Platzer scored for Northern, while Cory Churchill netted the lone Vikings goal.  Earlier in the day Anchor Bay scored four times in the third period to beat Port Huron High 6-2 in the consolation game.  Collin Day and Tyler Provencher each scored twice for the Tars, while Cam Sanders and Chase Colvard had goals for the Big Reds.
