Body found outside Port Huron home

Investigations are underway into why a body was found outside a Port Huron house Wednesday evening. According to the Port Huron Police Department, the body of a 30 year old man was found int he 2600 block of Locust Street around 5pm February 20th. Sargent Doug Decker of the P.H.P.D. tells WPHM the man’s death is believed to be from a self inflicted gunshot wound and there are no suspects at this time. The death is currently being investigated by the department’s major crimes unit and the medical examiner.
