Accessible gardens, play area now at Palmer Park

A new accessible play area and new garden beds have come to Palmer Park in Port Huron. The improvements being made by volunteers from habitat for Humanity and Blue Water Free Methodist Church. The project was funded by a grant from the national Recreation and Parks Association and The Walt Disney Company. Called “Sprout City”, the improvements to Palmer Park will allow children of all abilities to plant their own gardens this coming spring.
