Traffic stop uncovers heroin, stolen vehicle

$500 dollars in heroin and a stolen vehicle discovered after a traffic stop near Marysville by St. Clair County Sheriff’s Deputies Wednesday. Authorities pulled over a vehicle near I-94 and Gratiot Roads in Kimball township Wednesday afternoon. The driver, a 40-year old Detroit Man, was found to be in possession of heroin. The man was also had a suspended license and the the vehicle he was driving was also reported stolen. His passenger, a 41-year old Arizona woman, had a quantity of marijuana. Both are housed in the St. Clair County Jail where they will face charges of possessing heroin with intent to deliver among other charges.
