It’s the first time in a decade that the local United Way has exceeded its fundraising goal, with a party being held last night to celebrate the success of the 2017 campaign. The United Way of St. Clair County raised $1.25 million dollars in it’s 2017 campaign and chairman Danny Negin tells WPHM’s Paul Miller a lot of credit is due to the many real estate agents who stepped up and helped contribute. Negin adds all of the campaign team members deserve credit for helping to raise so much money. The United Way is a volunteer organization that provides funding to 23 Affiliated Organizations that do not always have the ability to raise enough money on their own to help local St. Clair County residents.
