Two meteorites have been discovered in Michigan following Tuesday’s meteor event. The American Meteor Society says Robert Ward and Larry Atkins,  professional hunters, found the first two on an iced-over lake in Livingston County’s Hamburg
Township. The two are planning on donating a portion of each meteorite to a scientific institution for classification. The National Weather Service office in White Lake, says the space rock entered the Earth’s atmosphere Tuesday Night, creating a sonic boom that shook houses and lit up the sky across the region.
