Sarnia Police have made an arrest in connection to a break in at an elderly couple’s Sarnia home earlier this week. On January 8th, authorities were alerted of a robbery in the 100 block of Cecil Street. The couple were in bed at the residence when they noticed someone was in the kitchen. When confronted, the suspect said he was a police officer investigating a break in. He took the mans wallet and left on foot, where he was tracked to a local coffee shop. After review of security tape, the suspect was identified as 24 year old Ian Lindsay, who is now in custody.
