Indians Set New Mark

The Cleveland Indians are the first American League to team win 21 games in a row, matching the 1935 Chicago Cubs for the longest mondern area win streak.  The Indians beat the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday afternoon 5-3 to set the mark.  Jeimer Candelario, Nicholas Castellanos, and Andrew Romine drove in runs for the Tigers.  Jay Bruce and Roberto Perez hit home runs for Cleveland.  The Tigers are home to face the White Sox on Thursday afternoon.
