Andreas Athanasiou scored the game winning goal, less than two minutes into overtime, for the second game in a row, as the Red Wings won in Carolina 4-3 on Monday night. Anthony Mantha scored two goals, and Tomas Tatar stayed hot with another goal. The Wings and Hurricanes play again in Carolina on Tuesday night, in the final game of a three game in three day stretch for the Detroit.
