Lars Eller broke a 3-3 tie with under 8 minutes left in the game, lifting the Washington Capitals to a 4-3 win over the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday night. The victory gave Washington their first Stanley Cup championship in their history. Alex Ovechkin scored a goal to help the Caps take the series 4-1.
