Tigers pitchers struck out 14 in the second game of a double header, as Detroit beat the New York Yankees 4-2 to earn a split in the two games. Victor Martinez and Leonys Martin each had two hits and an RBI for Detroit. The Yankees Aaron Judge struck out five times in the game and set a record with eight strike outs in the double header. The Tigers open a three game series in Boston on Tuesday night.
