The SC4 men’s basketball team fell in double overtime on Saturday to Muskegon 97-87 at the Fieldhouse. Skippers forward Quintin Johnson made a half court three point shot at the buzzer in regulation to send the game to the first overtime. Johnson then knocked down another buzzer beater at the end of the first OT to force a second extra period. He finished the game with a team high 27 points. The Skippers made 16 three points shots and had got 14 points from Jermaine Drake, and 11 each from Derrick Johnson, Kodi Badger, and Ross Hinkley. Sergio Diaz led all scored with 35 points for Muskegon. In the women’s game, Muskegon defeated the Lady Skippers 100-48. Brooke Januad led SC4 with 13 points, while Emily Fleischmann scored 12 with 13 rebounds.
