An early morning drug bust in Sarnia has resulted in a significant amount of cocaine and crystal meth being taken off the streets.
Sarnia Police say their Major Case Action Team, with backup from the Emergency Response Team and K-9 unit, executed a search warrant Tuesday at a home on the 700 block of Alexander Street.
The raid uncovered more than 600 grams of cocaine and 850 grams of methamphetamine, with a combined street value of roughly $127,000 Canadian. Officers also seized over $4,600 in Canadian currency, and equipment linked to drug trafficking.
60-year-old Nancy Huehn was arrested at the scene and remains in custody ahead of a scheduled bail hearing. She’s being charged with two counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, and being in possession of property obtained in crime.
