A half-dozen fireworks displays are scheduled throughout the Blue Water Area over the next month. St. Clair has their traditional fireworks display along the St. Clair Boardwalk in Palmer Park on Thursday July 4th. Fireworks will cap off day three of the 86th annual Pickerel Festival in Algonac Friday. Lexington’s Fireworks begin at 9pm Friday followed by a parade the Saturday morning at 11am. Port Hope and Port Sanilac will light up the skies over Lake Huron both Saturday night.
No fireworks are planned in Port Huron this year during Blue Water Fest. Instead, the city will be hosting a 200 piece drone show, on Family Night Thursday, July 18th, in celebration of the 100th Port Huron to Mackianc Yacht Race. Yale will host fireworks as part of Bologna Fest July 26-28th. Marine City’s fireworks will be August 2nd, part of Marine City Maritime Days.
