No. 12 Michigan State was less than impressive on Friday in a season opening 28-13 win over Furman. Tyler O’Conner threw three touchdown passes for the Spartans, who took ten penalties in the games for 120 yards. MSU will have a bye week before playing at Notre Dame in theirn second game of the season.
