Steven Moya hit two home runs to pace the Detroit Tigers to a 5-1 win over the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday. Moya had three hits, as did Jose Iglesias, who knocked in two runs. Miguel Cabrera also hit a home run for the Tigers. Detroit goes for a sweep in the four game series, when the teams meet again on Thursday afternoon.
