Michigan Motorists are seeing a drop in gas prices for the second week in a row. According to AAA, the average price per gallon fell 13 cents from last week, putting the new State average at $3.49 per gallon of regular unleaded. AAA says fluctuating oil prices have pushed pump prices lower, despite higher demand and declining stocks usually causing the opposite. Metro Detroit’s current average is $3.48 per gallon, about 12 cents less than last week’s. Here in the Blue Water area, we’re seeing an average just below that at $3.47.
