Woman arrested in connection to August hit and run

The suspect wanted for a fatal hit and run in Port Huron Township in late August has been arrested and charged. 37 year old Jacalyn Reid was arrested Friday for her connection to a double hit and run that took place in the 3700 block of Dove Road on October 30th. A  30 year old Marysville man struck a bicyclist with his car and had stopped to call authorities. The 56 year old bicyclist from Fort Gratiot died at the scene of the crash. A nearby 40 year old woman assisted at the scene of the crash and was also struck and killed by a second car believed to be driven by the suspect who fled the scene. Jacalyn Reid faces charges including failing to stop at the scene of a crash resulting in death and for driving on a suspended license.
