Victor Martinez broke a 1-1 tie in the top of the ninth with a solo home run, but Shane Greene didn’t get an out in the bottom of the inning, as the White Sox walked off the Tigers on Monday 4-2. Daniel Palka led the inning off with a game tying home run, then after a single, Matt Davidson hit a game ending two run home run for Chicago. Niko Goodrum added a home run for the Tigers, and the White Sox Nicky Delmonico led the game off with a home run. Game two of a three game series is set for Tuesday night.
