A new roundabout on Lapeer Road in Kimball Township will open to traffic this afternoon. According to the St. Clair County Road Commission, construction on the roundabout at the intersection of Lapeer and Allen Roads will wrap up this afternoon. The project was financed by the St. Clair County Road Commission and the State of Michigan with a total cost of nearly $806,000 dollars.
