Fireworks cause fire, kill four animals

Fireworks discharged from a moving vehicle are believed to be the cause of a grass fire that killed four calves in a Greenleaf Township pasture this weekend. Sanilac County Sheriff’s Deputies says the incident occurred around 1:00 am Saturday morning in the 4900 block of Cumber Road. The suspect’s vehicle is described as a small passenger car.
