The St. Clair Starz U14 softball team beat Indiana 7-5 on Monday morning in action at the regional in South Holland, Illinois. Avery Paul had four hits and an RBI to pace the Starz, while Savanna Clark had three hits and 2 RBI, and Megan Postma (RBI), Kylie Russell (2 runs), and Skye Gottler all picked up two hits each. The Starz next game is a big one on Monday evening against the defending World Series champions from Poland, Ohio. The winner goes directly to the regional final on Tuesday afternoon, while the losing team would have to win Tuesday morning to advance to the final.
