Expansion in the Federal Hockey League has caused a change for the Port Huron Prowlers. Reigning FHL Coach of the Year Joe Pace Sr., who led Port Huron to a league record 44 wins last year, and took the Prowlers to the Commissioners Cup Final, is leaving the team to become the first GM/Coach of the Mentor Ice Breakers. Mentor, located in Ohio, officially joined the league on Monday, giving the FHL six teams for next season. Taking over the coaching duties in Port Huron is Joe Pace Jr., who will act as both player and coach this coming season.
