Willson Contreras had a double and a home run and drove in three runs, as the Chicago Cubs beat the Detroit Tigers 5-2 on July 4th, to sweep a two game inter-league series in Chicago. Nick Castellanos and John Hicks each hit a home run for the Tigers, who open a four game series with Texas on Thursday in Detroit.
