Paige Ameel tossed a one hit shutout on Tuesday at Port Huron High, leading Marysville to a 3-0 win over the Big Reds in high school softball action. Ameel struck out 17 hitters, while walking just one in the win. Anna Herr hit a three run home run in the top of the 7th inning to provide the Vikings with all of their runs.
