Big Reds Bats Booming

The Port Huron High girls softball team belted out 19 hits on Friday and beat rival Port Huron Northern 15-2 at Northern.  The Big Reds scored 8 runs in the second inning and never looked back, as Madeline Trombly went four for four with two RBI and struck out six, while allowing just five hits to the Huskies.  Emma Trombly, Jaiden Bailey, and Noelle Fleury all had three hits for Port Huron, while Madison Gilbert and Morgan James each knocked in three runs.  Kylee Lisee and Angel Pawlowski had RBI singles for Northern.
