The Port Huron Prowlers lost 4-1 to the Carolina Thunderbirds on Saturday night at McMorran Arena, ending one of the most amazing streaks in minor pro hockey.  Port Huron had gone 117 calendar days without losing in regulation, going 38-0-1 in 39 consecutive games.  During the run, the Prowlers had win streaks of 13 and 25 straight games, the second streak the longest in FHL history.  Port Huron (43-6-2) has all ready tied the FHL records for wins in a single season, and has two games left to set a new mark.  The Prowlers travel to Carolina next Friday and Saturday to close out the regular schedule.  Port Huron takes a 20 game road winning streak into the weekend.  Playoffs begin April 13 at Danville with the first home playoff game on April 14 at McMorran.
