The Port Huron Prowlers 13 game win streak ended stunningly on Friday night at McMorran Arena. Down 4-1 in the game, the visiting Carolina Thunderbirds rallied for a 6-5 overtime win. It was the first loss for the first place Prowlers since December 3rd, when they were beaten by Carolina 5-1. Robert Vanwynsberghe scored twice for Port Huron, who also got goals from Matt Robertson, Matt Graham, and Branden Parkhouse. Michael Bunn had three goals, including the game winner in OT, plus an assists. The same teams will rematch at McMorran Arena on Saturday night.
