The Port Huron Northern hockey team opened the season on Saturday, falling 6-3 to Cranbrook at McMorran Arena. Dakota Truscott had two goals and an assist for the Huskies, who also got a goal from Tucker Harris. Northern returns to action next Friday against Port Huron High in the semi-finals of the Larry Manz Tournament.
