It was made official on Friday afternoon, the Detroit Tiger shave named Ron Gardenhire their new manager. Gardenhire managed the Minnesota Twins for 13 years, winning six division titles in that span, while posting a record of 1068-1039. He replaces Brad Ausmus, who was let go by the team after four seasons on the job.
