The holiday season officially gets underway Friday with Port Huron’s Annual Santa Parade. The parade kicks off at 6pm from the corner of Military and Court Street and continues up Huron Avenue to McMorran Plaza where Santa himself will host a tree-lighting ceremony. Speaking with WPHM, Downtown Development Authority Director  Natacha Hayden says that’s not all that Santa has planned for the day. She’s inviting families to come see him before the parade for cocoa and cookies at Sperry’s Movie House, and spend some time after the events to see what else downtown has to offer this time of year. Hayden is reminding drivers, Military and Huron will be closed and no parking will be allowed from 3 until 8pm on Friday for the parade.
