St. Clair County at high risk for COVID-19

St. Clair County is once again in the “high risk” level for the transmission of COVID-19. Announced Friday, the St. Clair County Health Department saw an increase in cases and hospitalizations over the past week, placing the county in the “high” category. Under CDC guidelines, masks are highly recommenced to be warn in public indoor spaces regardless of vaccination status. The testing positivity rate has increased to 24% and there were two new deaths reported. Macomb, Oakland, Wayne, and 12 other Michigan Counties also currently fall in the high risk category.
