A handful of new road construction projects begin this week in St. Clair County. In Port Huron Township, Griswold Road between Michigan and Range will be closed for a crossroad culvert replacement project starting today and lasting through Friday. In Riley Township, Masters Road just east of Belle River Road will close for approach paving starting Wednesday and lasting through Friday. In Clay Township, Long Island Court will be closed from Water Works Drive to the end for road paving during the duration of the week. Work will be performed by the St. Clair County Road Commission and is weather-dependent.
