DTE Energy is in the process of investigating the cause of a fire that broke out at their St. Clair Power Plant in East China Township yesterday morning. Around 4am Monday a fire was reported in the coal crusher house at the St. Clair Power plant. Local fire crews responded and the fire was extinguished shortly after 6am. No injures were reported and the operations of the St. Clair Power Plant were note affected by the fire.
