Port Huron Police are reporting a series of home invasions in a neighborhood on the city’s north side. Authorities say homeowners in the 3800 block of Gratiot Avenue have reported items missing from their vehicles, garages, and homes. In one instance, a homeowner was able to scare away a suspect who had attempted to open a locked door. The suspects are described as younger white males with masks over the faces and are still at large. Police are asking anybody who may be victims of the home invasions or may know more about the suspects to contact the department’s Criminal Investigative Division at 984-9715 or the anonymous CAPTURE tip line at 987-6688. Police say they are especially interested in any video surveillance footage from cameras or smart doorbell systems.
