A reconstruction project on I-69 in St. Clair County is expected to begin this week. The Michigan Department of Transportation will be rebuilding nearly 6 miles of the highway between Miller Road and M-19 as well as M-19 from I-69 to Burt Road. Motorists should expect lane shifts and single lane closures during the project which will last through November of next year. The $38-million dollar project is being funded by the rebuilding Michigan bond initiative.
