A trash truck entering Michigan at the Blue Water Bridge over the past weekend was found to be hauling nearly a thousand pounds of marijuana. According to the US Customs and Border Protection Agency, the pot was found in the rear of a garbage truck that was destined for a landfill in New Boston. Officials referred the hauler for a secondary inspection and discovered the marijuana, which was concealed in black trash bags. Port Director April Donaghy, in a statement to WPHM, says C.B.P. officers are highly trained to spot inconsistencies, and that she’s proud of their actions this past weekend.
