There will be no Rockin’ the Rivers concert series this August in Port Huron. The Port Huron Recreation Department announcing yesterday that the annual summertime tradition has been canceled due to COVID-19. The free concerts usually take place every Thursday night in Kiefer Park just north of the Municipal Office Center. Organizers say with over 2,000 attendees each night, the gatherings would be larger than what state orders currently allow. The City of Marysville is also canceling their summertime concerts in the park this week as well, as outdoor gatherings are currently limited to 250 people.
