The Eastern Michigan State Fair is among the growing list of events affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Organizers of the annual Imlay City event say they will be changing the fair to be a youth exhibition only. Animals will still be shown and judged, however the carnival, grandstand, and livestock auction will be cancelled. “It is our responsibility to keep our youth foremost in our practices and decisions,” said Fair Manager Ian Kempf in a press release. Exhibitors will be sent specific information about their shows in July by email. More information is available on the fair website at www.easternmichiganstatefair.com .
