Statewide daily COVID-19 cases fall to lowest in three weeks

There were 576 new Coronavirus cases reported in Michigan as of Monday afternoon. That’s the lowest number of daily confirmed cases since March 26th. Locally, 10 new cases were announced in St. Clair County as well as one new death of a county resident. That’s according to data made available by the St. Clair County Health Department Monday afternoon. 284 people have tested positive for the virus, 168 have recovered.

According to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, the number of cases in Sanilac County held steady Monday. There are 32 reported cases and 3 deaths. Two more deaths were reported in Lapeer County Monday. There are now 145 cases and 20 deaths of Lapeer County residents. The statewide total is at 32,000 COVID-19 cases and about 2500 deaths.
