Marysville drowning victim ID’ed

The St. Clair County Sheriff’s office is releasing the identity of the man who died after his car crashed into the St. Clair River last week. Authorities say 64 year old Patrick Walsh of Clyde Township was the driver and lone occupant of a vehicle that plunged into the river the morning of Tuesday the 18th. The vehicle entered the river at the intersection of River and Cuttle Roads near the Marysville Golf Course around 6:30am. The car was pulled from the river by the St. Clair County Dive Team later that morning. Water temperatures the morning of the incident were reported to be around 39 degrees.
