Authorities are investigating a two vehicle crash on Wadhams Road in St. Clair Township Wednesday night. According to the St. Clair County Sheirff’s office, deputies responded to a crash report shortly before 11:30pm along Wadhams south of Mahern. Deputies report that an SUV driven by a 47 year old Clyde Township man crossed the center line and side swiped a southbound pickup truck driven by a 30 year old Shelby Township man. The driver of the pickup attempted to avoid the crash by swerving left but was unable to avoid striking the SUV. The driver of the SUV as well as his 34 year old male passenger were taken to an area hospital for treatment. Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
